Faux Enemies – Part III: Dominating the Domains

The domain registry.
So what happens when Bryan and Sarah meet their match?
Sarah: ok
Sarah: WAIT!
Bryan: Wha…?
Sarah: sarahandbryan.com is taken
Bryan: Oh shoot my caboot!
Sarah: I looked it up the other week and it was availabke
Bryan: Oh damn.
Bryan: That sucks.
Sarah: BAH
Bryan: Bah indeed.
Sarah: The page is empty! They don’t even use it
Bryan: That’s bull-honkey.
Sarah: Well Bryan Tinsley of Boone NC who owns sarahandbryan.com and does not use
it, fuck you right in the ear.
Sarah: Boone is a town of like 1,000 people
Sarah: It’s near where my Aunt Deana has her glass studio
Sarah: I should have her go shake him down for the domain
Bryan: How many “sarahandbryan” websites are there?!
Bryan: We should do “sarahsandbryano.com”
Bryan: Most people won’t be typing that into their webbrowser anyways, they’ll just
follow a link we send.
Sarah: The Go Daddy suggestions are hilarious
Sarah: BryanSausage.com $599.00*
Sarah: BryanSpeedway.com $549.00*
Sarah: SARAHANDBRYANBLOG.COM $9.99*/yr
Sarah: WAIT!
Sarah: THEsarahandbryan is available
Bryan: BINGO!
Sarah: WE CAN BE THE DEFINITIVE SARAH AND BRYAN
Bryan: Make sure our faux enemies know who the REAL mofo’s are.
Bryan: Indeed!
Sarah: THE REST ARE IMPOSTORS!
Bryan: BAH-HA!
Sarah: Is it wrong that I just gleefully laughed in the face of our faux enemies?
Bryan: No, it’s not wrong if we mock and provoke our faux enemies.
Sarah: Hm, you know Sarahandbryan.net is available, but that sounds a little lame.
Bryan: .net is fine by me, but if you’d rather be more fashionnable with the .com, I like
the idea of THEsarahandbryan.com
Bryan: Maybe people will get confused with that dufus from middle-of-Nowhere NC
and buy us wedding presents, thinking he and faux enemy Sarah are getting
hitched.
Sarah: Bryan of NC has had that domain since 2002. Maybe their relationship fizzled.
Bryan: HA!
Bryan: We win.

Who needs real enemies when you have faux enemies. Anyway, don’t complain, it just means more presents, toasters, blenders, margarita makers, etc.

I will be happy to take my brass knuckes up there, along with my enforcer Sal–Sal Monella.
Actually, Boone’s a pretty big town(15,000 people year-round, not including summer people or students)with a decent university, Appalachian State, which has around 16,000 students.
So what DO you want for wedding gifts? It seems that the soft rustle of $$$ is always appreciated…
